Growing up on a farm in the Mallee town of Birchip, Olivia was part of a community where connection was at the heart of everyday life.She moved to Geelong in 2022 and has since built her career across the events and hotel industries, now working as Business Development Manager at Crowne Plaza Geelong. Since joining the hotel team in August 2025, Olivia has been part of the journey from pre-opening through to launch and into full operations.Olivia enjoys working closely with clients to bring ideas to life and create memorable experiences, with a genuine passion for building lasting relationships.She is incredibly enthusiastic about Geelong and everything the region has to offer. Having grown up in a small country town, she values the balance Geelong provides – offering exciting career opportunities while maintaining a strong sense of community.As GYP’s Community Engagement Lead, Olivia is focused on strengthening connections, supporting local organisations and creating opportunities for Geelong’s young professionals to engage, collaborate and grow.

When I was little, I always wanted to own my own business. I was always coming up with a new side hustle and trying to make a few dollars.
My big dream now is to travel the world, continue growing my career and build a life I am proud of.
My dream holiday destination is our own backyard! Exploring Australia with a rooftop tent and ticking off the Big Lap is high on my bucket list.
Highlight of my career so far being a part of the pre-opening team that brought Crowne Plaza Geelong to life on the waterfront! Seeing the hotel transform has been incredibly rewarding.
